When to Use This Bit
Use the TPD 50 1/2 for routing decorative wide-flat-bottom grooves across cabinet door stile and rail faces — typically run parallel to the long axis of stiles and perpendicular on rails to frame a raised or recessed panel insert. Also suited to routing face-frame decorative grooves on cabinets and furniture carcasses. Best run in a router table with a fence for consistent positioning.
