The PT-200H Industrial Planer Jointer is extremely rugged in construction & weighing in at 208kg it will not move when planning heavy timber. With 2 x independently adjustable cast iron tables, 4 x HSS cutter blades rotating at 5500rpm and a powerful 2hp 240V motor driving the 200mm wide cutter head making it a very popular choice for trade professional joinery workshops. This cast iron infeed and outfeed tables are a long 1800mm in total length, and ground exceptionally flat and mounted on a substantial steel stand. The power switch is conveniently mounted up high to the side of the table for quick & easy access. For safety, the cutter blades are fully protected across its whole width by a spring return aluminium guard that self regulates to your timber size. The infeed and outfeed tables can also be adjusted for a quick set up to produce rebates up to 13mm deep. There also is an adjustable quick stop system on the infeed table to allow repeat accurate depth settings to be made quickly. The heavy duty cast iron adjustable fence with a flat ground surface, is held by a robust cast iron bracket & slide system. The fence is fully adjustable for angles between 45°, 90° & 135°. Waste extraction is removed from the left side of the machine via a 100mm outlet port and should be connected to a suitable dust extractor. Setting the four HSS blades into the cutting block is easy & accurate with the included blade setting gauge device, ensuring that all blades are accurately set in identical position for a smooth cut finish.
