Solid carbide 2-flute down cut spiral router bit, 3/8″ cutting diameter and 3/8″ shank, for aluminium and non-ferrous metal routing. The down cut helix keeps the top surface clean and burr-free — the preferred geometry for laminate trimming, ACP through-cutting, and aluminium profile routing.

When to Use This Bit
Choose the TSL 12 3/8 where a 3/8″ diameter groove or through-cut is required in aluminium or laminate, and top-face finish quality is important. The 3/8″ shank gives more stability than the 1/4″ shanked TSL 8 for longer cuts in harder aluminium alloys. Always use cutting fluid with aluminium routing.
