2-flute carbide-tipped rounding-over bit with integral pilot. No fence or guide bearing needed — the built-in pilot registers directly on the workpiece edge. Produces a clean 1/4″ radius round-over on table edges, drop-leaf joints, and general timber edge work. 1/4″ shank.

When to Use This Bit
Use the T508 when you need a 1/4″ round-over without the complexity of setting up a bearing or fence. For larger radii up to 1/2″, the T516 is the right choice. For edge work requiring precise, adjustable depth control, consider the T502B–T532B ball bearing series.
Pro Tip: Run at 18,000–22,000 RPM with a moderate feed rate for the cleanest result. For drop-leaf joints, ensure both mating faces are profiled at the same height setting to guarantee a flush, gap-free joint.
