The Carbitool TW 7509 is a 2-flute carbide-tipped Ogee router bit with a wide flat bottom. The distinctive flat-bottomed ogee profile is designed for grooving panel doors and decorative edge moulding where a flat base is needed between the curves. 1-1/2″ cutting diameter, 1/4″ shank.

When to Use This Bit
Use the TW 7509 for decorative grooving on panel door faces, drawer fronts, and furniture facades where you want an ogee curve with a flat centre section. The 1-1/2″ diameter and R6.35mm radius give a more prominent profile than the TW 7506. Use with a fence on a router table. For a 1/2″ shank version for heavier work, choose TW 7509 1/2.
Pro Tip: Take a light test pass on scrap material first to verify profile placement relative to your fence setting — the flat-bottom feature is sensitive to depth and fence position, and a precise setup makes all the difference in the finished appearance.
