When to Use This Backing Pad
Choose the hard (202463) pad for flat-surface stock removal, edge sanding and any task where you need maximum contact pressure and a perfectly flat profile. The rigid density prevents the pad from rounding over edges or dipping into grain. For finish sanding on contoured or curved surfaces, switch to the soft pad (202461).
