When to Use This Filter
The 203759 is the correct main filter for any CT extractor with the Autoclean (AC) function — CT 26 AC, CT 36 AC, and CT 48 AC. Do not use standard main filters in Autoclean extractors as they are not built to withstand the agitation cycle. This filter is particularly important for PLANEX drywall sanding, where fine plaster dust would rapidly clog a non-PTFE filter. Festool recommends replacing the filter annually for optimal performance. Replaces the older 496172.
