When to Use the AC-112-006-12
Reach for the AC-112 IP67 when you need to measure in a wet environment — coolant-flow machining, food-processing equipment maintenance, outdoor fabrication, or any workshop where the part comes off the machine still wet. For dry-bench use the cheaper AC-111 IP54 is sufficient; the IP67 upgrade pays off only when water exposure is routine.
Pro Tip: Even IP67 calipers benefit from a warm-water rinse after coolant exposure — synthetic coolant deposits on the slider rack can affect smooth movement over time. A quick rinse and shake-dry after the shift extends the tool’s service life significantly.
