The Accud AC-313-001-02 is a coolant-proof IP65 digital outside micrometer covering 0–25mm at 0.001mm resolution with ±2µm accuracy. Carbide measuring faces and a sealed housing let you work through coolant mist and swarf without losing the display or corroding the gauge.

When to Use the AC-313-001-02
Reach for the AC-313 when you need sub-micron repeatability or you’re working around coolant and swarf where a mechanical mic would need constant wiping. For general-purpose outside measurement where 0.01mm is enough, the AC-321-001-01 mechanical mic is lighter, battery-free and lower cost. The AC-313 steps up the accuracy, resolution and sealing when the job demands it.
Pro Tip: Always zero an IP65 digital mic against a known gauge block at the start of a session and again after any handling that might have stressed the frame — digital electronics don’t drift, but a bumped frame does. The zero reference against a block catches mechanical shifts the display can’t show.
