When to Use the AC-352-024-01
Reach for the AC-352 set when measuring inside diameters larger than an inside caliper can reach or an inside micrometer head alone can span — engine blocks, hydraulic cylinders, pump housings, large bearing bores. For smaller bores up to 25mm see the AC-313 IP65 digital mic; for bores 25–50mm the AC-321 series mechanical mics.
Pro Tip: When building up a rod combination, tighten each rod-to-rod joint firmly by hand but don’t use pliers — over-torquing warps the thread and throws the reading out. If the accuracy drifts over time, it’s usually the rod joints accumulating small amounts of grit; disassemble, wipe each thread clean, and reassemble for a reset.
