The C175-41 is a Peerless non-return (check) valve for twin-tank piston air compressors. Fitted between the pump head and the receiver, it lets the pump charge the tank on the up-stroke and blocks compressed air from flowing back into the pump when it stops, so the tank holds pressure and the compressor restarts unloaded.
