When to Use the PRSCO100
Reach for the PRSCO100 100mm outside caliper when you need to verify outside diameters on turned or round work, or transfer a dimension from a rule or micrometer to the workpiece. The 100mm size is for small parts — bar ends, fasteners and detailed turning. For larger diameters, step up to the 200mm, 250mm or 300mm variants in the same series.
Pro Tip: Set an outside caliper from a known reference (a micrometer or gauge block) and check it across the diameter at two or three points around the workpiece — variation tells you the part is tapered or out-of-round, not just the wrong diameter. This quick comparison catches setup errors on the lathe before you finish-cut.
