The Carbitool T 916 is a 2-flute carbide-tipped chamfering bit with pilot that cuts a 45° chamfer on edges and joints to help produce near-invisible joints and clean decorative edges. The built-in pilot eliminates the need for a fence or guide assembly.

Pro Tip: For near-invisible mitre joints, chamfer both mating edges at 45° and apply glue to both faces — the long-grain glue surfaces created by the chamfer give a stronger bond than a standard butt joint.
