The 04-DC3004 is a 1/4″ BSPT brass drain cock that threads into the bottom of an air receiver to bleed off condensate. A quarter-turn of the handle opens the port so accumulated water and oil can drain, then closes it to re-pressurise the tank.

When to Use This Valve
Reach for part 04-DC3004 to fit or replace the drain on a compressor receiver. Open it at the end of each day to release the water and oil that collects at the bottom of the tank — the single most important habit for tank life and clean, dry shop air.
Pro Tip: Drain the receiver while it still holds a little pressure — the residual air blows the condensate out cleanly rather than leaving it to pool and rust the tank floor.
