Carbide-tipped 90-degree V-groove router bit for decorative grooves, chamfering, and sign lettering in timber and panel products. The 90-degree included angle is the most versatile V-groove profile — cuts a clean, symmetrical groove with equal 45-degree faces on both sides.

- 90-degree included angle — cuts equal 45-degree faces on both sides of the groove; the most common V-groove profile for decorative panelling, sign lettering, and chamfering.
- Carbide-tipped cutting edges — stay sharp through extended runs in MDF, hardwood, and plywood where abrasive content would quickly blunt HSS tooling.
- 2-flute geometry — clean, smooth groove walls with minimal tearout on face grain and cross-grain cuts.

When to Use This Bit
Use the T 112 wherever a clean 90-degree V-groove is required — decorative panel face grooves, V-groove chamfers on edges, sign and lettering work, and architectural panelling. For shallower grooves (22.5° or 30°), see the R573/R574 series. For ACP (aluminium composite panel) routing and 90° bend lines, see the R579 series with flat bottom.
Pro Tip: Run at 14,000–18,000 RPM. For deep V-grooves in MDF, take two passes — a shallow pass first to establish the groove centre line, then a full-depth finishing pass. This prevents the bit from wandering on the first plunge.
