Intech’s PRSCI inside spring caliper is purpose-built for measuring internal diameters — bores, cylinders, tube IDs and tapped holes. The bowed legs reach into the bore and the spring joint holds the setting cleanly as you transfer the dimension to a rule or micrometer.

- Bowed inside legs — shaped to reach into and around the inside wall of a bore so contact points sit true at the diameter, not on the shoulder.
- Spring-joint precision setting — the spring returns the legs to the set width when released, so you can re-check multiple bores against the same reference without re-setting.
- Large fulcrum bearing surface — prevents sideways deflection when you rock the caliper through the bore looking for the true diameter at max width.

When to Use the PRSCI300
The 300mm PRSCI300 is the largest of the Intech inside caliper series — it’s built for deep reach into big castings, large hydraulic cylinders and fabrication bores where shorter calipers can’t reach the measurement plane. For closer work around the bench, the 100mm, 150mm and 250mm options in the same PRSCI series are more manageable.
Pro Tip: On deep bores, rock the caliper in two planes — side-to-side and in-and-out at the measurement depth — to find the true maximum. Pressing straight through without rocking often reads the entry chamfer or a shoulder instead of the finished bore wall.
