The Carbitool TBF 4 is a 2-flute carbide-tipped Beading Fine Point router bit. It produces a compact bead groove with a 1mm fine point base (R3.18mm), ideal for panel door grooving, decorative surface beading, and fine inlay detail work. 1/4″ shank. Use with fence or template.

When to Use This Bit
Use the TBF 4 for fine bead grooves on panel door faces, cabinet drawer fronts, and decorative surface patterns where a crisp, narrow point profile is required. For a larger fine-point bead, choose TBF 8. For a standard (flat-base) bead profile, use the TBB 4 or TBB 8 instead.
Pro Tip: Fine point bits are most vulnerable at the tip. Always run at full router speed (18,000–22,000 RPM) with a steady, even feed rate. Avoid dwelling in the cut, as this generates heat at the point and can cause tip chipping.
